The Somatic Collective by FlowArt® is committed to providing an accessible learning experience for all participants. We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA and to make reasonable accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and applicable state laws.
Our accessibility practices
Course design: Slides use high‑contrast fonts and accessible color palettes; images include alternative text where feasible; documents are provided in accessible formats (PDF/Word).
Captions and transcripts: Live online events provide automated captions whenever the platform supports them; on‑demand programs include closed captions or transcripts.
Keyboard and screen reader support: Our primary platforms support keyboard navigation and common screen readers.
Pacing and sensory needs: We strive to include pacing options, content warnings where appropriate, and downloadable materials to review at your own speed.
Requesting an accommodation
If you need an accommodation to fully participate:
Email [email protected] at least 10 days before a live event.
Tell us the course title/date, your preferred contact method, and the accommodation you are requesting.
We will confirm what we can provide, timelines, and any alternative options if a requested accommodation is not feasible.
We handle accommodation information confidentially and share it only with team members who need it to fulfill the request.
Feedback and issues
If you encounter an accessibility barrier on our website or platforms, please email [email protected] with a description of the issue, your browser or device, and any assistive technology used. We will acknowledge your message within 5 business days and aim to address the issue promptly.
Compatibility
Our websites and platforms are designed for the current and previous major versions of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, and Safari. Some features may not function in older browsers or in environments that block essential cookies or scripts.
Continuous improvement
We regularly review our materials and platforms for accessibility. When we adopt new platforms or features, we assess their accessibility and implement workarounds or alternatives when needed.
